SMART hitting! THINK OUTSIDE THE BATTER’s BOX

The ability of a baseball hitter to get the count in his favor will very often determine success. 2-0 or 3-1 are Big Swing counts. The batter should be coming out of his shoes in an aggressive swing or he should not be swinging at all! No big deal if you take a tough strike and the count becomes 2-1 or 3-2.
